Breaking Up 582

I enjoyed painting the last garlic bulb so much that I did another one. There is always a lot of garlic in our house so it is a ready subject to paint. Free shipping.

That's Italian 581

This bulb of garlic is so excited about the gravy (pasta sauce) that I am making that it is breaking itself apart. It will probably try to jump in the pot before I get a chance to crush it!

Blueberry Attack

These little blueberries are attacking the orange guys. They think that they (the blueberries) can win by sheer numbers. It was a crazy scene as you can see by the colors thrown around. Who won?

Crazy Color 551

This is a bit unusual for me but I really enjoyed playing with the impressionistic brush strokes and this color combination. I will do more of this in the future.

Mean Lemons

Who knew that lemons can be so aggressive! As you can see from my past three posts, the lemons have chased away all of the cherries. Now they are after the little, fragile glass vase. Time to make lemonade.

Boxed In

This square glass bowl is so fun to paint. I thought it worked great with the juicy, round cherries. It looks to me like the lemon slices were threatening the cherries so they jumped in to the bowl for safety. What do you think happened to the cherry that did not make it into the bowl?!

Lemonade

My neighbor gave me some lemons from her tree. Instead of squeezing them to make traditional lemonade, I decided to paint them.

Looking through the Glass

Kind of a play on words. I was thinking "Through the Looking Glass". Anyway, I am intrigued with the distortions of the cherries behind the glass.
