My Happy Place 544

The coolest place in Florida in the summer is at the beach with a little sea breeze. My husband and I set up an umbrella, very comfy beach chairs and a cooler with goodies. That's what I call a great day.

Kitchen Tools

These shiny measuring cups and spoon are challenging to paint. It is mostly reflections and highlights. This was a fun painting.

Amost Spring!

One of my favorite flowers - Hibiscus. They are considered tropical, but we can grow them during the summer in South Carolina. Such beautiful color variations.

Pretty Bird

New series. This is an orange bird of paradise. I took a bunch of pictures of this tropical flower while visiting Florida. The sharp shadows and striking colors attracted me.
