Working on Cute

This is the same kitty from yesterday. I think the staff at the animal shelter puts these fur babies through a cuteness course.

Please.....Take Me Home

The hardest part about going to the local animal shelter to take kitty pictures is not to load my car with all of them. They are so sweet!

Party is Over

Our designated driver is so embarrassed by the actions of her drunk cherry friends that she is actually hiding from them. Now it is her challenge to get them home!

Designated Driver

The girls have decided to go out on the town. Luckily, one of them agreed to be the designated driver.

Summer Fruit

So many things to love about summer. Cherries are one of them. I seem to paint faster when fruit is involved. After sitting under the studio lights, the artist is obliged to eat the fruit, right?

It's Red!

Here is another classic car from my visit to a local collector. All of his cars are in perfect condition.

Another Classic

This beauty is also from my visit to the local car collector. Thank you Jay and Angie Sullivan. I have to admit, this car was perfect. There was no rust or "bad" spots. However, as I was painting it, my burnt umber underpainting started peaking through. I thought it helped to age this car. What is it?

A good friend invited my husband and I to visit a local collector. I was lucky enough to catch a few quick snaps of this gentleman's cars.

Fresh Fruit

One of the side benefits of painting fresh fruit is that I get to eat it after finishing the painting.

This is the last kitty painting for a while. This little guy seemed pretty serious to me.

Miss Ella

My good friend Edith McBee Hardaway recently lost her kitty. She is now on the Rainbow Bridge. I did this painting to memorialize Miss Ella.
